Ray graduated from Canterbury University in 1975 with an LLB. After 4 years overseas he started his legal career at Hannan and Seddon in Greymouth in 1980 and was a partner in that firm from 1983 – 1993. After two years as an Associate with Cook Allan Gibson in Dunedin he became a partner in Spiller Rutledge in 1995. On 1st July 1998 Spiller Rutledge changed its name to Trainor MacLean and on 1 April 2014 Trainor MacLean changed its name to MacLean & Associates.

Greg graduated LLB from Canterbury University in 1983. Greg started his career at Weston Ward and Lascelles before working in the law in the UK from 1985 – 1987.
He then moved to Christchurch and joined Spiller Rutledge in 1987 and became a partner in 1989.He remained a partner with Spiller Rutledge and Trainor MacLean and became a Consultant with MacLean & Associates on 1 April 2014.

Vicki graduated from Canterbury University in 2011 with an LLB and BA(Hons) majoring in English and started working for the firm in 2011. She was admitted to the High Court as a Barrister and Solicitor in October 2014.

Louise graduated from Canterbury University in 2007 with a BA majoring in Sociology. Louise started working for the firm in 2015 gaining her Legal Executive qualification.
